大多数学者认为保罗的书信是第一批产生的新约文献。它们是最早幸存的基督教文献。他最早的书信大约写于公元50年。它可能是我们所说的帖撒罗尼迦前书,尽管一些学者认为加拉太书是最早的。保罗写成的最后一封书信可能早于其他最早的新约书信。
